Renny Gleeson
Global Digital Strategies Director
Wieden+Kennedy

Renny began his interactive career developing online and CD-ROM games, then began his work in advertising with Saatchi & Saatchi’s Darwin Digital, which he joined as an associate creative director. At Darwin, he developed interactive engagement platforms for General Mills cereals, Procter & Gamble’s Tide and Physique brands, GeoCities, and Time Warner’s Entertainment Weekly, Money and People magazines. Promoted shortly thereafter to creative director, he led the agency’s creative team, winning Effie’s and Addy’s for his Procter & Gamble work.
He went client side with dELiA*s, a teen clothing retailer, and took a position as the senior vice president of marketing for their stable of web community and retail properties. He was then recruited by the National Basketball Association to lead their global digital marketing and content syndication efforts. He led a marketing team for four years creating mobile programs and programming, video game integrations and digital platforms for NBA partners including Sprite, Verizon Wireless, Nike, adidas, IBM, Reebok, AOL, Nestle, American Express, Visa, AT&T, Nokia, Gatorade and McDonald’s.
Renny was tapped to lead the NY and Atlanta offices of Carat Fusion, a full-service digital marketing agency. As a senior vice president and managing director, he led a multi-disciplinary 50-person team, creating integrated digital programs for clients including Alberto-Culver, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Healthcare, Schick, Revlon, Pernod Ricard, Luxottica, Midas, Sprite and Philips Corporation.
He is thrilled to be on board at Wieden+Kennedy as the global director of digital strategies. He is a video gamer, and occasionally his wife and two kids let him play.
